I never really thought of my home town as a vacation destination when I was younger and growing up. It was a gorgeous place, and there was a nice lake nearby, but it didn't seem as if anything distinctive to me. I guess that I sort of took it for granted, if you wish to know the truth. Seeing all of these folks getting cottage rentals got me thinking. I realized that I had not ever done any overseas traveling, and that I most likely should while I am still youthful. I am kind of a homebody on the whole. Generally, I'm glad going to work, getting a drink or two at the pub after work, and going home to enjoy a great movie or book. I have some family members in Britain who I have never met, and it looks like the perfect time to go and visit them. If I can find cottages to rent, we can all get away for a bit and enjoy the well known English countryside together.

Even though it's outside of town a little bit, you can still ride the bus into London. This means that I can visit the countryside, but have a bit of time in the city as well! I can not wait to go!
