When I spoke with the co-worker throwing a baby shower I found out that she was giving the shower the final day my niece was going to work before the beginning of her maternity leave. I told that I was planning to have a shower after the birth of the baby. We decided that we would tell the shower guests this so they could pick out their presents accordingly. I would be including relatives and she would include co-employees, so people would not be invited to 2 showers.
The who and when is finished now comes the theme. There are lots of wonderful themes but decorations and coordinating everything can get pricey. That's when an associate informed me about wholesale favors. I had no idea that wholesale favors were available to the general public and that there was such a range of these wholesale favors. That resource alone saved the party and my budget. It left a whole lot of money for the cake and other essentials.
When planning a baby shower party you can get inserts from the shops where the mother has registered to place in the shower invitations. Having these cards to insert cuts down on the amount of info you need to write on the invitations and is another fantastic money saver.
Planning a baby shower should include as much input from the brand-new parents as possible. Aim to include the brand-new dad also so he isn't feeling left out of the process. The baby shower party should concentrate on celebrating the brand-new life.
