It is pretty ironic and tragic the way our priorities sometimes back-fire. A lot of parents I know will toil from morning till night each day to provide the greatest future for their kids, yet by doing this they may be harming their kids more than assisting them. At first, she was a tad nervous about listening to the kids audiobook. She told me that she wished to hear me reading it, not some tape-recorder. Nevertheless, when she figured out that I wasn't going to stay it doesn't matter how much she pleaded and begged, she relented and decided to listen to the kids audio books.

She actually truly enjoyed it. I like to believe that she still likes the way I read more than she likes kids books on cd, but I bet it is a close-call. The kids audiobook readers are great. My diction isn't bad, and I am a pretty expressive reader, but these are real qualified performers. Your average run of the mill dad just simply can not compete! They know exactly how to read kids books to make them thrilling and engaging, keeping your children on the edge until the very last page. Although my little girl is still sad when I leave town, the kids books on cd make my trip a tad bit easier on her. Both of us are very happy about that.
