A Young Woman Engages In Hazardous Drinking And Gets Excellent Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Center For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Alcoholism Symptoms

Beth was the mother of three children. Beth had been feeling quite anxious lately and started to "medicate" herself by drinking a few screwdrivers every evening after she tucked her children into bed. After just about eight weeks of this drinking routine, she eventually grasped the fact that rather than helping her "lighten up" and "manage" her issues, drinking made her feel less tranquil when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more tense throughout the .

After reflecting on her circumstance for a week or two, Beth made up her mind to discuss her drinking problem with her best friend. Indeed, just about five minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Maggie, mentioned that she knew about a very competent and skillful physician at the local alcohol and drug rehabilitation clinic. After talking to her best friend, Beth without delay got encouraged to call the treatment clinic and schedule an appointment.

Ten days later she finally got to meet the psychiatrist her best friend had been talking about. After their short introduction, Beth explained to the physician that ever since she and her former husband got divorced, she has been struggling spiritually, psychologically, and financially.

As Beth was talking to the psychiatrist, she emphasized the point that she frankly thought that Robert and she waited long enough to know one another well enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, on the other hand, their relationship seemed to go downhill. Furthermore, both Robert and she began to drink, and their careless and excessive drinking adversely affected their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her hazardous and excessive drinking. The physician also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehab.

After spending five months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to see that the main cause of her tension and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her resentful feelings she has for her former husband who divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings distress her to such an extent that she became an alcoholic.

Armed with these insights and with the drugs her doctor prescribed, she finally stopped drinking, she began to feel much less depressed, and she started making time for social activities with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after getting therapy from her doctor, she even started to date once again.

It was apparent that Beth had come a long way. In fact, just around four months after she completed her treatment, Beth had finally laid the harmful feelings of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually"alive" and psychologically "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
